Evelynn and Nasus

I’ve recently discovered hybrid Evelynn in LOL. At first, I was skeptical. I had been using an AP Eve but I was finding that the more I leveled up, the harder it was to get enough kills to build mejas soulstealer. With a hybrid build, it was more stable. Sure, Eve’s nerf has taken a huge strain on her abilities and no one really wants to play with you when you choose her, but I still love her.
I’ve decided, however, that like real life, being a one trick pony isn’t viable. I play a decent Sivir but she is super squishy. I am trying out Nasus and even though he isn’t that bad to use, I can’t figure out how to build him to be maximize his abilities. Well, I’ll be experimenting and I’ll let you know when I do!
Tip of the day: stay on top of things in life. It may seem like you have a lot of time but you really don’t. If you don’t, stress will end up hurting you really bad.

American Horror Story

FX’s new original T.V. series features the American Horror Story. This story is about a family from Boston moving to Los Angeles after tragic events happen in their original home, including a miscarriage by Vivien Harmon, followed by her husband Ben Harmon cheating. Both take their daughter Violet Harmon to Los Angeles and buy a nice-looking, but old house. This house has had a lot of history to it, and it seems like bad history.

In just the first episode, we are introduced to some of the victims. The first victim we see are twin boys who were causing trouble and going into the house and breaking stuff while finding disturbing jars of things in the basement. They end up getting killed in the basement and later appearing behind Vivien in the kitchen. Foreshadowing?

Other characters introduced includes a disturbing boy named Tate, strange neighbor lady Constance who is scary because she seems to be apart of the horrible things that occur in that house, her downsyndromed daughter , murderer and victim of the house Larry Harvey, and the maid Moira and Moira junior (same person but different to Ben and Vivien) who is hinted in the show has been killed before by Constance.

I am looking forward to the rest of the series. The pilot was thrilling, vulgar, scary, and super super sexy. I can’t help it. Dylan McDermott is very hot. If you have time and the guts to handle horror, check out this rough gem of a series.

Song I fell in love with from this episode of American Horror Story is Tainted Love by Hannah Peel. Check it out!

One of the songs featured in the new show American Horror Story. Its a soft, but very scary version of Tainted Love. With the background music being a music box of Tainted Love, it brings the show to a whole new level of scary. Music by Hannah Peel

Life’s Spice

How does one spice up one’s life? The answer has two words: Be Spontaneous. I use to go through life by the book. Rules. Boundaries. Parental commands. Now don’t get me wrong, I still mostly do. But now being in college, I’ve realized, life needs spice. Playing it safe all the time is… well, safe. But what about doing the same thing over and over again? One never experiences new experiences. Sure, maybe one day, that person will become a very rich and successful person. Yah. But being so dedicated to work, they won’t get the experiences and happiness that others can get. With so much money comes so much responsibility, leaving no room to do what one wants. Are they really happy?

Being Spontaneous brings new experiences and spice to one’s life. With somethings being uncertain, life suddenly becomes more interesting. Yes, sometimes there are risks. Maybe an event might turn out wrong. But being human means making mistakes or taking risks. Or else, we’re just robots.

I try to do something spontaneous once and awhile. Of course, I don’t go on spontaneous binges or else nothing gets accomplished. But on weekends, I deserve some me time.

So here is my advice to you: Do something random for yourself once in a while. Get new experiences. Those experiences end up helping you understand yourself better. So what are you doing? Go out. Have fun! But honestly, be super safe. I don’t want you to get hurt or get anyone else hurt. Please.

League of Legends

I LOVE this game. Normal mortals don’t understand why. But those who are brave enough to embrace this game are rewarded with the ultimate game for nerds.

I would like to start off by saying I have never played DOTA. Thus, I can’t compare LOL to DOTA. So I’ll focus my energy on LOL.

LOL is a game were champions battle each other to get to the other team’s nexus. That is normal mode. Dominion is another mode were champions battle each other to run out the time meter to destroy the other team’s nexus. The game play sounds redundant. But for a big reason, its worth it. The reason is, each champion has their special abilities and there are MANY champions to choose. This gives the game its variety and challenge.

Let me make this clear. I’m a girl. I love LOL. That makes me sexy in the gaming community (or so I’ve been told…).

This is it for now. I’m about to start a game :)

I’ll be posting about Evelynn next time and how ever nerfed, she is one of the BEST champions out there.

Check out their website! Happy playings!

Drama

Drama makes the world go round and round. People say they hate it. But yet, they start it. For example, why would u post something on a facebook page saying someone hates another person when both people are able to see the post. Then, at the END of the post, tell people to stop drama. What is this? You, my friend, has just started drama to the max. Thanks to Facebook.

We learn at one point in life that Facebook is a dangerous place. A place of drama just brewing to happen. After we get screwed once, we learn to be more careful on Facebook. For a while. Then BAM, suddenly, the drama starts again. People need to learn that Facebook is not real life. Stuff on Facebook is kept forever. Even if a post is deleted, its somewhere in the cloud of data storage.

I end this blog with some advice. Be smart. Don’t just post just whatever you think at that point. Think it over for a minute or two before you post. Is this going to hurt someone else? Is this going to come back and bite me in the ass?
